Founded in 1998, AlfaTherm has grown from a single plate heat exchanger workshop in Houston, TX into a global thermal engineering firm serving 74 countries with AHRI-certified solutions for industrial process cooling, HVAC, and energy recovery.

Pressure vessels designed and fabricated per ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1, with CRN registration for Canadian provinces.
Compliance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive for equipment in Categories I through IV, with Notified Body involvement per module requirements.
Quality management system certified by TUV SUD, covering design, manufacturing, testing, and after-sales service of heat exchange equipment.
All products intended for the European market carry CE marking, demonstrating conformity with applicable EU directives including PED, Machinery, and Low Voltage.

AlfaTherm founded in Houston, TX as a plate heat exchanger fabrication workshop with 12 employees and a single CNC plate press.
Obtained ASME U-Stamp authorization for pressure vessel fabrication. Expanded into shell-and-tube heat exchanger manufacturing.
Opened ISO 17025 accredited thermal test laboratory. First AHRI Performance Certification achieved for plate heat exchanger product line.
Established European operations office in Rotterdam, Netherlands. PED 2014/68/EU certification obtained for Category III/IV equipment.
Launched natural refrigerant product platforms (AT-CO2 Series for R-744 transcritical systems, AT-NH3 Series for ammonia applications).
Installed vacuum brazing furnace for in-house BPHE production. ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification obtained from TUV SUD.
Crossed 15,000 installed units globally across 74 countries. Opened additive manufacturing R&D lab for next-generation heat exchanger geometries.
